Following Tommy of the Liberation and Canadian of the Liberation, this book concludes the extensive trilogy devoted to the Allied units involved in the liberation of north-western Europe under the Anglo-Canadian command of the 21st Army Group. While many of them had already fought against the German army since 1939, thousands of volunteers gathered in Great Britain donned the battledress of their British brothers in arms, alongside whom they fought from the Normandy coast, along the English Channel, to the lands of the Third Reich reached in the spring of 1945.
