Les Combats Oubliés de la France Libre

During the summer of 1940, several thousand volunteers from all walks of life joined General de Gaulle to continue the war as part of the Free French Forces. From the first battles fought in Eritrea in 1941 to those on the Alpine Front in the spring of 1945—including the battles of Bir Hakeim, Tunisia, the Vosges, and Alsace—relive, through a selection of artifacts and documents, five military campaigns in which the soldiers of Free France distinguished themselves.
