La Seconde Guerre en Images et en Couleurs

This book explores the deadliest period in our history through colour photographs, most of which are original and often previously unpublished. These are complemented by images specially colourised for this volume using the latest techniques, which do not in any way alter the original image. Following the chronology of the major events of this war, which unfolded across most continents, the author also focuses on more anecdotal photographs in which we can glimpse that, amidst the chaos, a little humanity and hope still remain.
