USMC - Uniformes et Equipement

For over 10 years, the authors have published a comprehensive series of articles in Militaria Magazine on the uniforms of this elite corps, which fought primarily against Japanese invaders in the Pacific. Their completed work now deserves to be published in book form, expanded and supplemented.

The Marine Corps has long distinguished itself within the United States Armed Forces through its distinctive symbols and uniforms. Presented here are the main uniforms of the troops and officers, as well as the full range of combat uniforms, including the Corps’ specific camouflage uniforms. The uniform, personal equipment, weaponry and insignia are illustrated by colour photographs of soldiers in period costume and by numerous large-format plates.
