L'Autre Débarquement Correspondants

On June 6, 1944, the Allied Armada that swept across the skies and beaches of Normandy brought with it some of the most famous war correspondents, such as photographer Robert Capa, writer and journalist Ernest Hemingway, and later Cornelius Ryan, author of The Longest Day. Women, although banned from the front lines, also reported to the world on the largest amphibious expedition of all time. Martha Gellhorn, Lee Miller, and Helen Kirkpatrick were among the most brilliant.

The Other Landing pays tribute to them and tells a story that had yet to be written in Normandy.
