AIRFIX - QuickBuild - 1:35 Tiger I Tank

What is QUICKBUILD? Airfix QUICKBUILD is an exciting range of brick-based models that provide an introduction to model building for children aged 6 and over. The pre-colored parts simply snap together to build an impressive model, which can then be decorated using the included stickers. 

No paint or glue is needed to make these fantastic models look like the real thing, and once completed, there's no trace of brick assembly. Once built, they're tough enough to be used as toys, or smart enough to be used as display models. 

Each model comes with a full set of easy-to-follow full-color instructions, free-rolling wheels for cars and tanks, and display stands for all aircraft. 

The Tiger I is designed on a 1:35 scale, with a fully articulated turret and moveable wheels and tracks. Although the German Panzerkamfwagen VI Tiger heavy tank was introduced into combat in September 1942, it is still considered the world's most famous tank model. 

Featuring a formidable combination of firepower, armor protection and mobility, the Tiger's 88 mm gun and excellent sighting optics enabled it to engage enemy armor at extreme distances, and certainly well beyond the range at which they could return fire. 

Indeed, during the first Tiger engagements on the Eastern Front, the highest probability of a Tiger being destroyed was at the hands of its own crew, who were desperate to prevent one of these magnificent machines falling into enemy hands.
